One of our  puppies that debuted in 2009, Billy had a great start to his show career for owners Paula Brooker and his handler co-owner Kim Kaye

Rarely out of the cards, he has found favour under all round and breed specialist judges.  Billy has been particularly noted for his exquisite head, eye and expression.  Most recently at the ISCGB Championship Show Italian Breed Specialist Judge Dr Giancole Mentasti remarked that he excelled in his class in this regard and most recently brought home a rosette placing from Crufts 2012

Judges' Viewpoints

"Dog 23 months I liked him a lot, Spongy nose & good ratio skull & muzzle with a lovely expression. Seen from profile planes divergent with oval skull which has plenty of work. Median furrow present. Ears set level to eye which was well fitted. Adequate bone, good width to upper arm but chest still needs to develop and drop. Withers well apart with good lay back of shoulder. Minimal tuck up to underline, visible break to topline with slight rise over loin. Moderate rear angulation with good width to 1st thigh. Very lean so needs more weight and would prefer little more coat. Moved well although a little loose in front but this should rectify itself once chest develops."

"Beautiful young boy 11 months old, won this class due to his exquisite head, the kindest eye and almost humanlike expression, divergent head planes and a pronounced occiput, well proportioned throughout with good angulation fore and aft, harsh coat, and thick skin. He still has a lot of maturing to do but has plenty of time to come into his own. Moved well."
