Kim has been in training with one of her Spinoni Billy (Bannonbrig Billy Elliot who Kim shows and co-owns with Paula Brooker) for the event to raise money for Spinone Rehome

April 2011 - Judging in Italy
At the beginning of April Nicola had the honour of judging Spinoni in their homeland alongside esteemed breed experts Dr Luca Massimino and Signora Maria Grazia Poli at the National Breed Club raduno in Castrocaro Terme
The Raduno was part of the Triennial celebrations which included working tests, a breed convention and a gala dinner with visitors from around the globe

We are absolutely over the moon with the wonderful report by the Group Judge Kathy Gorman from Boston Championship Show:
My sincere thanks to Boston for inviting me to judge the gundog group & gundog puppy group.
What a marvellous collection of BOBs. As each dog entered the ring, I was just enthralled to see one beautiful dog after another pass in front of me. As a result, I had a lot of difficult decisions to make & can honestly say that all of my shortlisted dogs, plus some others, could have taken a group placing here. I shortlisted the Brittany, GWP, Pointer, Vizsla, Spinone, F/c Ret, Duck Toller, Clumber, ESS, Weimaraner & IWS (from NSC).
After moving each one again, I chose my final four, which, in a build-up of suspense, were then announced by the commentator.
G4 was the very typical Spinone, Sh Ch Bannonbrig Rude Boy, has such a lovely, refined, balanced head, square outline & excellent coat, was shown in superb muscular condition & moved so freely really striding out in the style so typical of this breed, looking as if he could go all day & therefore so fit for purpose.
January 2011 - Rudy has his first day at School !
At 15 weeks of age Rudy had his first taste of Ringcraft Classes in preparation for his show debut at 6 months old.
His 'posh' name is Bannonbrig Rude Rascal.
We usually give our puppies a very gentle introduction to their show training and generally on their first visit they are given the opportunity to sit back and take in all the new sights and sounds.
Rudy had other ideas !!!
After a period of watching the proceedings, then progressing to standing in line whilst the other dogs came to say 'Hello' before taking their turn to go through their paces with the Training Judge, Rudy was raring to go. He loved it !!!
He stacked in show stance whilst the Judge examined him without batting an eyelash and trotted around the floor mats as if he had done it hundreds of times before....
Roll on next week when he gets the chance to try it all again at a different venue.
