Bannonbrig Scissor Sister ~ Teasel

Teasel

You were my childhood dream come true

Such a gentle soul you touched so many hearts
Blood donor, surrogate mother, school visitor
But most of all my faithful and constant companion
We had so much fun together

Sleep well my sweet girl
May you run free in the heather
With the sun on your back and the wind in your ears
Forever Young

Teasel's life was tragically and unexpectedly cut short in October 2011

We are all still shattered by her loss

Teasel had a wonderful life with Rachael & James and we always looked forward to the latest photo's showing what she had been up to. Having bought her as a baby puppy Rachael later decided to take the plunge into the world of showing and entered her beautiful girl at a show or two and with immediate success, not bad considering she was approaching her second birthday at this point; typical though of her temperament taking everything in her stride.

At her debut shows Teasel was placed in the top two in her class under Gundog Specialist Judges. She delighted us all by winning two classes at her first Championship show, Driffield 2010 and qualified for Crufts 2011 where she was well placed in her class handled by Rachael

We were so very proud of all of their achievements not least that Teasel was a regular blood donor and served in saving the lives of several people's canine companions

If she could have kept a diary Teasel would have some amazing tales to tell as she shared in the working life of her doting owner Rachael who is a busy veterinarian. She was a dear dog and a very special Spinone

Run free dear girl...we will always love and miss you x
