Bannonbrig Juliet Bravo - 'Julie'

Southern Counties Championship Show

May 31st 2013

1st in Open Bitch Class & CC Winner

Judge:  Dr Paolo Dondina (Italy)

"Good quality class to judge. My winner is a very typical bitch throughout, white/orange, well balanced feminine head that caught my eye as she entered the ring, presented in good condition, right size, stylish but with all the qualities of a massive breed, correct square body, croup and set of tail, thick skin and rough coat, free and easy movement and capable of fast trot."

Our lovely girl Julie is just such a joy to be around; she epitomises the sweet nature of this wonderful breed with a little touch of the class clown about her

She loves travelling the length and breadth of the country with us to attend shows and is very accustomed to her weekend hotel stays.....well a girl has to have a little luxury in her life doesn't she!

"Stunning bitch heading a very strong class of quality bitches. Lovely breed type & outline of correct balance of height to length. Beautiful well shaped & balanced head, great eye shape & expression & nice brows, moustache & beard. Strength in topline, croup, body & well ribbed back, with lovely depth of sternum chest & body line. Well angulated upper arm & good return of stifle, well muscled, presented well in a correct textured o/r coat. Straight well coated legs & tight feet, moved out well & soundly..."  Judge:  Jenny Miller

"Quality bitch of good type, pleased in head shape with feminine eye & expression, good neck & shoulders, body pleased with correct topline, firm muscular rear used in her true movement, super bone on frame, nice size giving outline of balance, coat & skin good, shown & presented well...." Judge:  Keith Groom

The most beautiful head! Roof skull, well set eyes, good length of foreface........... Excellent side gait, good proportions & angulation......Judge:  Zena Thorn-Andrews

Julie has consistently been at the top end of her class and has had some super critiques from respected judges.

Here's one of them from Breed Specialist Judge Doreen Hardie:

"This bitch is very appealing. Head so feminine, classic shape, melting expression, spongy nose, correct earset, brisket deep with plenty of heartroom. Well coated and presented. Strode out well. When she is mature should make up."

Another good type from this kennel. Pleasing size and presents a balanced outline. Best of heads, so well proportioned and good strength of muzzle, kind expression. Best of fronts, well sprung ribs, short coupled. Well let down hocks. Soundest of movers with excellent driving action........Judge:  David Shields

Best Puppy Bitch at SWKA Championship under Breed Specialist Judge Suzanne Whittingham (Riccini):

11 month white & orange, slightly longer cast than both minor puppies but very balanced. Best of head planes, divergent and gently sloping, moderate stop, correct median furrow. Correct scissor dentition. Melting eyes with gentle expression, eye shape and colour excellent. Good strong neck into correct shoulders and good length of upper arm. Good topline with break at 11th vertebrae which she maintains on the move. Ribs well back.....good rear construction ...correct sloping croup...Sure she will have a promising future..
